![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Those of us who come to learn about the Holocaust from a distance, acquire a knowledge mediated mostly through books and film, relying on documents and even more so, on the testimony of survivors. Yet as the day wanes, I think of all those who lived through that time, all those who lost family, friends and loved ones, all those for whom Holocaust Remembrance Day is every day. The moment of community silence and remembrance has passed, the ceremonies with their memories, stories and songs are done. ![]() Holocaust Remembrance Day is almost over as I write these words.
